Missing In Action

Here i am back again after a haitus .Blame it on the lazy parents .One wont upload photos and the other wont blog .Grown Ups ...its always like this with them .But i am back again ,no photos ...no videos ...just bloglets to keep this memoir going .





Lots has happened over the past 3 months .Add a a few inches to my height ,more gleam in my eyes ,feet on the fly ,nonsense blabber all the while no weight on the waist though (keeps my mom worried ).To make more sense


1.I am a regular school regular guy ...daily ...mon to fri 9 to 12


2.I speak with sentences by just connecting words ,though they dont make sense they manage to communicate .Actually they are good enough to get my tantrums across .Mostly i speak hinglish .English nowns connected with hindi words .

3. I ran a race and a got a medal (i finished third ) dad thought i finished 4th .Actually it was a unfair race as i was put in with guys one term ahead of me and to make it worse they put a afro american big guy in my race .Now these guys are born athletes .Atleast i got my first medal and now it is displayed on my wall .
4, I choose my own wear .Only jeans and cords will do .No short pants or 3/4ths .and good tees .My favourites are the one that have a splash of silver .

5. I can answer 5 questions (ahem ) .They are
1.What is the capital of India
2.Who is captain of Indian cricket team
3.Who is badshah of Bollywood
4.National animal
5.National Bird

Now dont someone go asking these questions when you meet me i may not be able to get all of them right ...after i am bacchu

Terror twos and Threes

I turned 2 on 24 Nov, entered what the Drs call as terror twos and threes .Reason : babies at this time are at the troublesome highest .

This year i had a low key birthday ....looks like people start taking you for granted so soon .Low key yes but yet i ended up cutting 3 cakes at different locations .
1.At dahs and mammas office (i was half sleep and couldnt figure out what all the strangers around me were upto )

2.At a orphanage ,where i hosted a party for 350 kids .All of them sang a happy birthday in unison (not exactly but atleast the first two lines were deafening ).

3.A family Dinner at a rooftop restaurant .here is where people discovered my love for music .There was loud music (of someone else party)to which i yelled and danced to everyones surprise ,who uptil now knew nothing of my gyratting skills .

By the way, i am now schooling at a local montessari and my teacher says i keep babbling .It took me a week to open my mouth and now i somehow dont seem to be able to shut up .

Some other stuff

1.Daji (Dadaji ) got me 4 rabbits for a few days from his farm .I took full advantage of it to become the most popular kid in the building .Well now atleast everyone knows me in the bldg.

2.Weddings Galore - In last two months have attended so many weddings .I have been amused by one thing ,the "Chikis " my terminology for brides ,stand at one place with so much clothes and jewllery grinning at everyone .Anyway the good part is that it is followed by music and dancing .

3.Jadoo Ki "Huggi"(hugs not to be confused with diapers )
I see kids my size guys /gals ,even stotal strangers , and i give them a "Huggie"- a loving embrace .I am choosy about this though .While the mums of the recepient say how cute and how sweet ,the reciever does not know where to look and what to do .All in good taste .

Mention the word huggi to me and i will give a embrace (only kids )

Goa Holiday No 2

1.Stayed at Hyatt - Nota very toddler exciting hotel
2.Swam on my own - Wonderful Pool
3.Nap On the beach - Obvilious of the waves ,sun and blowin sand .
4.Discovered Golf
5.Found my wings - Indoor is boring .Couldnt stay confined in the room
6.Made New Friends - Sara
7.Met "charles Sobhraj"- not in person but his statue at the place he was nabbed .

My First Blooper Moment

My mum did not want this to be on my blog ....but what is life without a few moments like these .

Danger is my middle name

I know it has been a while .....thanks to lazy dads....poor wireless .Just let me get the key beats and i wll update this blog regularly .My folks were hoping that the worst was over as far as tantrums and baby management is concerened .But now it is waht they call the "troublesome two/threes " phase .Here we toddlers pretend not to understand anything and get thinks done our way .I too have picked up a few tricks to give mum and dad sleepless nights and helpless days .My top 5 danger moves

1.Hang down from the bed upside down and watch tv (mom and dad clinging on so that i dont fall on my head )

2.Sitting on top of the cupboard ....8 feet up and enjoyin every moment of it ...a shaky dad trng to hold onto me .

3.Chasing pigeons (sounds easy ) but not when there are 400 of them and i am chasing them away from their food .

4.Getting on the dining table and pulling down the heavy clock .

5.Walking backwords till i run ito something .Before i un into a wall some hands do jump in .

6.Running on the bed sides pretending top do a fre fall .This gives some exercise to all to try and ensure that i dont really do it .

I am enjoyin every moment of it .

I have also got a haircut but i am not putting up any of those pictures till i grow some back .In the meantime some earlier ones .

Cricket Fever and Jet Lag

My travels continue ......I did my first overseas trip to Dubai .Before that i did a excusrion to Jaipur for a 3 day jaunt .It turned out to be one tiring trips.Someone please speed up the work at the airport .I had to face 4 hrs delay on return and i got real upset .

Jaipur Trip : good one but tiring .One day at the hotel at Jai Mahal palace .Exciting place lot of activities .I did a jig to the traditional welcome music there .I am putting up the photos next time .Travelled on a one long car trip to Ajmer ....to seek blessings .On the way back DA dissapeared leaving me with a 4 hr delay flight .By the way having travelled on quite a few flights i noticed that there are no Toddlers benfit .While they dole out gifts to 4 year plus kids ...Hey C"mon just because we pay less for the tickets does not mean dont deserve the gifts .Atleast we save you some of your stale food .

Dubai

The fun part travelling was the free upgrade to buisness class.Great flight .Had a good time with other pax on board .Met Gulzar the lyricst on board .Had a great trip ...shopping ,sleeping ,shopping and the fantastic Dubai Zoo ,at least they have healthy animals .I thought these guys just existed on toys and school boards .That was fun .

I wll post photos and videos the next time because this one is reserved for the photo to celebrate Mumbai Indians thrasahing of the Knight Riders .

Not that inderstand much of it but when i donned the MI colours i gave a expression that kinda celebrated the victory and was also a tease to Sharuk Khan (who is he by the way ...),or atleast thats what Mum thought so .So I am adding these photos .

My first Travelog :: Madh Island

Being part of a family in the business of travel i thought this time i will compile a travelog .

The Trip : A weekend getaway to Madh Island

Though i have been to Alibag (Remember my first trip ) and also to Goa (my first big trip ) i had never been to a beach (can you believe this considering that i am growing up in mumbai ...)Consider it as a चिराग तले अँधेरा और घर की मुर्गी दाल बारबार ./the non veg version of the same axiom.

I have got it capture on the video and some memorable photos considering it was a first for me to go into a swimming pool .

A short 40 minute trip ...a good drive once we cross the congested roads.idylic surrounding ,me enjoyed the drive more than the one going to Alibag.Once there we just checked into the The retreat ,a deluxe resort with a great pool and almost on the beach .From one corner of the window i codl see the baech too .At the beach i had an overdose of the dried fishes (right outside the hotel ),intoxicating ,and foul as it can get but my olfactory senses are better than mom who could hardly bear it .On the beach i saw the sea (sacry ),the boat (not as fascinating as it is pictures ) and the sand (fun ).I had carried my bech tools to enjoy the experience

Back at the hotel i spent the second afternoon in the pool with dad doing the honours of giving me not only the first dip but also the first taste of chlorinated water .Contrary to the expectations i did not cry ,welll actually i did but only when i was carried out of the water (i am not boasting ,this is true ).I had a moment of bonkers video created when i slipped on the side .It is recorded but mum inisit that it should not be made public .But i think i wll put it up on the next entry .A blooper moment ,that hurt at that moment but i guess will be a classic when i see it at a later age .

Milestones 2007 - Goals 2008

At this age you end up achieving a lot of firsts cos everything you do is mostly a first .Besides the regular kiddis first i also did the following

1.started schooling

2.Took a vacation to Goa

3.Got upgraded to biz class on Kingfisher with my charms .

4.Attended Friends birthday bash - hawain theme (catch the photo next edition of this log )

5. I became a outdoor guy - i need to go out of the house atleast 4 times a day .Anyone ready to take me out is my friend .

6.I got my first pets - Polly and Lolly - a bird pair.

7. I can run..... and fast .

8.I wear mostly jeans

9. I learnt to throw the ball and kick the ball ---- currently i dont know whether i want to be a beckhem or a tendulkar ...

Goals 2008

1.I am going to talk or atleast learn a few words atleast say mumma or mummy .I have already said DAh and thats getting mum jealous .

2.I wll learn alphabets and poetry ...well i have mastered a few (or atleast i think i have )

3.I will eat (currently i am on liquids )

Enough for this little soul...i dont think more shoudl be expected from me ..

Happy BirthDay To me !

I am no more measured in months ...i am a year old .Wow I am growing .I have however heard some other mum talk about their kids in months--"she is 18 months old ".Thats not for me ...load the years on to me i wanna grow up fast .Reason :I wanna dance ...sing ...and above all play ball (my favourite toy...by far ).

I know i have been not active for some time (Blame Dad !) but lots has happened in last two months ...to begin with i am on twos before schedule ...in fact i am runnin around .I have some words ..very few though ...on me .favourite one worder :bow- bow for dogs .seem to love dogs Followed by da-da -da (takes care of two favourite people in my life at one go ...daddy and dada).Mums pretty mad at me for not yet saying mamma .

In the last two months i have had lot of action -parties ,trip to Goa (i befriended a italian girl ,went on a boat ride ,Played a lot on my own ,got a diaper change in Marrioot car ,went to eco village - hot and terible ),Festivals (diwali and eid - have great photos but later on that ),rikshaw rides (my current favourite set of wheels )etc.But i guess the favourite moment has been my birthday party ..lots of gifts (dont understand most of them ) but i loved the action at the bash .All family under one roof ...nosiy music ...games ...and lot of attention ....good practise for future fame .I am just putting up a few photos (blogger limitations )..i am puting some more on slide.com .You can order your prints here ...just drop in a line...chk out

10 New Stuff I discovered !

I have decided not to add photos this fortnight so that you can see the difference when i put them up next ...i am growing and evolving ..

Let me share my new discoveries this fortnight ;

1.Shopping - Visited Inorbit and Shopers stop for some baby shopping for me and another baby - kabir .I put together a bear in bulid your own bear workshop .

2.Teething - Yep - Two razor sharp little teethlings are emerging ...it get very itcy and irritating .

3.Partying - Attended kabeer first birthday party .lot of jarring muisc ,baloons and clowns.

4.walking - Well almost ...i can now stand and slide along surfaces lik ewalls and table s.

5.Pain - on more ocassions then one i have had some head banging and finger crushing moments .I even got my lips crushed and had a swollen lip for 3 days .I discovered hospital and a new doctor .She calls me Gulab Jamun (round and sweet ..ahem !)

6.Cricket bat - I use it like a drum stick to bang on the ground

7.Outdoors - Come 5 a clock every day and its my strolling time .I have developed enuff sign language and action to indicate to mom that it is time to go .

8 Relatives - In plenty because a i attended a marriage from my dads side of th e family .I discovered grand uncles /aunts cousins in droves .We can have one hell of a family tree.

9.Dance and music - Put on the music and i can gyrate to it.I have my own move .I sutain it for atleast 10 seconds .

10.The bai Problem - 9 months and i am into my no 8 already .The current one is someone who has been with sushmita sen .Lets see how long this one lasts.
