Between one season to the other i have caught that non evasive virus .One week no school during fever and one more after that .School now seems like a boring unavoidable errand .Last 3 months i have added inches ( well this is perhaps boring piece of news cos i am expected to grow ober the next few years ) .However i have become quite a wise crack with interesting anecdotes .

Am i small or stuff around me are big ..........A little man in a BIG world

1.2 more inches to the length

2.Great language control of hindi and english

3.A sense of humor

4.Anger .......if you are not letting me have my way get out of my way

5.New friends ( missing old ones )

I have developed two obsessions

Monkeys .My favouries animal .....i have everything to do with these creatures atleast 10 toys ,cds ,dvds and even on youtube iwatch monkey videos .Yep i have learnt partial internet navigation ......running th emouse over and clicking .....for me computer is youtube ....

Ditto for mangoes

I am quite a nature lover and my dadaji is very proud of it .Give me a space of green and open and animals and birds and i am very happy .

Not seein much of the outdoors due to rains and am pretty irritated at that.

I love watching ads on tv ....my favourie is the ramesh and suresh ad of 5 star and i enact it with my man friday Rajesh .

The Ficticious Characters in My Life

Growing up is now fast .I have grown few more inches and am much taller than what i was .On the way to the year 4 i have added a lot of tantrums ( all signals of being a spoilt brat ) but at the same time i am throwing up moments of brilliance ( this helps to nullify the tantrums ) .
I have decided to dedicate this piece to some of the ficticious characters created in my life by mom and dad .

1.Batman

I am quite a super hero fan and this one is my favourite .Whenever given a chance to decide what i want to be i choose the batman .In my collection i have a batman doll ( big one ) ,batman night suit ,bat man crocs .

2.The Black fairy

This was created to attribute the bad things that happen to me or done my mom and dad ,to .eg my favourite toys dissapear ,black fairy has taken it my milk bottles ,black fairy has taken them and so on .This character has really been not only taking things from me it has been the cause of alllittle problems in my life .I had to find a way to get around this one .Here is what i did : One day at school my teacher gave me home work which i purposely did it wrong ...and when the teacher asked me why i did that ....i said ...."the black fairy whispered in my years to to it that way " .Well th enext tday my mom was summoned and informed the same .....and viola ...the black fairy is now out of my life for good ...

3.Spiderman and Superman

When i wass asked to create something in the drawing classs ,while all were making mountains and hills and birds ..i said that i wanted to make spiderman ...but i like batman more

other fascinations i have is with fruits and animals ...quite usual for kids my age ....but i take it a bit too seriously ...i have been taking them to bed with me me the real things .

Also i must tell you about this little trip of mine to the farm house in mangaon ...the one where dadaji has grown mango trees for me to pluck mangoes .It was one hell of a trip where i saw lot of fruits and animals ( bought make 3 baby chicks home ) .But gosh it was exhausting ...Will post photos of the trip next time .

I have also become a good boy and i know that there is a God and i pray to him for things big and small ....i prayed for nanaji to become okay and mostly i pray for certain toys i want which i always seem to get after praying .

I am also a fashion freak .Very choosy of what i wear .Current Subhaan trend ....animals on t- Shirts .And i actually pick up my own tee-s.the ones i choose with my own intelligence i wear them 4 days on the trot, at a minimum ( yep ....it is washed at night and kept ready for me to wear the next morning ) .Eccentricities of the genius in making :) ( actually a silliness of a brat who is being allowed to have it his own way )

5.I have become quite a story teller ( in a real sense )

6.I can blackmail .I know the right chords to strike to get things my way

7.I have learnt diplomacy ( terror at home ...the best behaved kid at school )

8.I choose my own clothes and have a distinct fashion sense ( my hues are black and blue )

9.I can clench my fist to box ( currently am using this on mom and dad only )

Tigers ,Grashoppers,Monkeys ,Squirrels and More : Vaction 09 Part 1

It had been a while since i posted a travelog ....it has been quite sometime since my mum and dad took me on travels! This Diwali i went on my "Tantrum Vacation ". Fun for me not so  for mum n dad .It was a great holiday ....i was at my best (worst !) .

Did lot of interesting things ... visited 5 cities in 6 days ... Delhi ,Agra , Bharatpur , Ranthambore and Jaipur . The trip was a mix of history (a bore at my age ) and wildlife ( wow for animal lover like me ) .

Day 1 and 2 : Delhi 

Chill out at hotel and malls 

Day 3 : Agra 

Taj mahal ( not recco for kids my size ...how can you enjoy going around a building with 1000 other people ) .My time was when i got to feed the squirrel and showed of my disappearing egg magic( thats another story )  to foreign children .The best part was when a monkey entered our room and there was action outside when guards had to intervene with their guns  to get him away .

Day 4 :  Bharatpur

Day 5 : Ranthambore 

This was the best part . Moving around a speeding open jeep into the thick jungle to catch a glimpse of the tiger .I did something memorable here .

Towards the end of the jungle we finally saw two sleeping tigers .A posse of 25 open jeeps surrounding them in a silence enough to hear a falling leaf and gentle breeze .At least 100 pair of eyes looking at the two lazing tigers Suddenly there is a loud cry ....yep that is me ... which not only shatters the silence but wakes up the two tigers . People looked in my direction and the tigers ...mum and dad embarrassed almost disowning for a while .In the meantime the tiger struck a majestic  pose ...the one that you always see in the perfect photos . Suddenly everyones cameras went clicking ....and i am sure the guys must have thanked me for getting the lazy cats to pose ... much to the relief of a flushed mum n dad . And why did i cry .... the guide snatched my camera and i  couldnt take that .

Well, after that was over i turned to mom and in my  eloquent  english said "i want to see lions now ". Well i guess that was the animal lover in me talking .

On my next post i will give tips on how to travel with children of my age without getting hassled 

Half past 2

Well thats the age i just crossed .I am posting a few photos along the way and some of my achievements in order of importance attached

1.I can sing the full jana gana mana ( yep ) .Courtesy : School ,Youtube and rehman

2.I can ride a bicycle and that too real fast .Check out my photo giving a ride to KooHoo( Thats her name ) ,the pretty girl .

३.I can speak full sentences in Hindi ,English and Hinglish ( that make sense)

4."I am a very good boy and love to sing "(Ahem) as quoted by Ms.Tanya my teacher .

Some eccenetricities

1.I can wake up anytime and ask for something i have played with in last 24 hrs it could be a actual watermelon and jackfruit ( my favourite fruits ,to play ,not to eat ),A stupid ball bearing ,or a ball or whatever .

2.I play with fruits real ones and the one that i want have to be replenished even if it is not season .dadaji is there to pay heed to my extraordinary demands and mummy is there to run to pick up from the market .Dad looks at it all ,amused .

3.My trousers and pyjamas have to be pulled down to just above the heel length .

4.Milk has to be stirred and shaken by me in the bottle before drinking .

Memorable moments

1.having to swim in mariott pool with diapers ( yep that is their rule ) and when they were asked about the age limit and smart babies like me who are toilet trained they say they can ask kids upto the age of 7 to go in the pool with diapers .Beleive it or not

2.In the same hotel i moved around the corridor pressing the bells of other rooms .Had to be dragged ( wailing and shouting to be allowed to continue ) by Dad .Much to chargin of atleast 1 foreigner who angrily stepped out but let it go seeing Cute Me.

Missing In Action

Here i am back again after a haitus .Blame it on the lazy parents .One wont upload photos and the other wont blog .Grown Ups ...its always like this with them .But i am back again ,no photos ...no videos ...just bloglets to keep this memoir going .





Lots has happened over the past 3 months .Add a a few inches to my height ,more gleam in my eyes ,feet on the fly ,nonsense blabber all the while no weight on the waist though (keeps my mom worried ).To make more sense


1.I am a regular school regular guy ...daily ...mon to fri 9 to 12


2.I speak with sentences by just connecting words ,though they dont make sense they manage to communicate .Actually they are good enough to get my tantrums across .Mostly i speak hinglish .English nowns connected with hindi words .

3. I ran a race and a got a medal (i finished third ) dad thought i finished 4th .Actually it was a unfair race as i was put in with guys one term ahead of me and to make it worse they put a afro american big guy in my race .Now these guys are born athletes .Atleast i got my first medal and now it is displayed on my wall .
4, I choose my own wear .Only jeans and cords will do .No short pants or 3/4ths .and good tees .My favourites are the one that have a splash of silver .

5. I can answer 5 questions (ahem ) .They are
1.What is the capital of India
2.Who is captain of Indian cricket team
3.Who is badshah of Bollywood
4.National animal
5.National Bird

Now dont someone go asking these questions when you meet me i may not be able to get all of them right ...after i am bacchu

Terror twos and Threes

First Bus Ride SSQ(Subhaan Style Quotient ) and My First Pet




I turned 2 on 24 Nov, entered what the Drs call as terror twos and threes .Reason : babies at this time are at the troublesome highest .

This year i had a low key birthday ....looks like people start taking you for granted so soon .Low key yes but yet i ended up cutting 3 cakes at different locations .
1.At dahs and mammas office (i was half sleep and couldnt figure out what all the strangers around me were upto )

2.At a orphanage ,where i hosted a party for 350 kids .All of them sang a happy birthday in unison (not exactly but atleast the first two lines were deafening ).

3.A family Dinner at a rooftop restaurant .here is where people discovered my love for music .There was loud music (of someone else party)to which i yelled and danced to everyones surprise ,who uptil now knew nothing of my gyratting skills .

By the way, i am now schooling at a local montessari and my teacher says i keep babbling .It took me a week to open my mouth and now i somehow dont seem to be able to shut up .

Some other stuff

1.Daji (Dadaji ) got me 4 rabbits for a few days from his farm .I took full advantage of it to become the most popular kid in the building .Well now atleast everyone knows me in the bldg.

2.Weddings Galore - In last two months have attended so many weddings .I have been amused by one thing ,the "Chikis " my terminology for brides ,stand at one place with so much clothes and jewllery grinning at everyone .Anyway the good part is that it is followed by music and dancing .

3.Jadoo Ki "Huggi"(hugs not to be confused with diapers )
I see kids my size guys /gals ,even stotal strangers , and i give them a "Huggie"- a loving embrace .I am choosy about this though .While the mums of the recepient say how cute and how sweet ,the reciever does not know where to look and what to do .All in good taste .

Mention the word huggi to me and i will give a embrace (only kids )

Goa Holiday No 2

1.Stayed at Hyatt - Nota very toddler exciting hotel
2.Swam on my own - Wonderful Pool
3.Nap On the beach - Obvilious of the waves ,sun and blowin sand .
4.Discovered Golf
5.Found my wings - Indoor is boring .Couldnt stay confined in the room
6.Made New Friends - Sara
7.Met "charles Sobhraj"- not in person but his statue at the place he was nabbed .

My First Blooper Moment

My mum did not want this to be on my blog ....but what is life without a few moments like these .

Danger is my middle name

I know it has been a while .....thanks to lazy dads....poor wireless .Just let me get the key beats and i wll update this blog regularly .My folks were hoping that the worst was over as far as tantrums and baby management is concerened .But now it is waht they call the "troublesome two/threes " phase .Here we toddlers pretend not to understand anything and get thinks done our way .I too have picked up a few tricks to give mum and dad sleepless nights and helpless days .My top 5 danger moves

1.Hang down from the bed upside down and watch tv (mom and dad clinging on so that i dont fall on my head )

2.Sitting on top of the cupboard ....8 feet up and enjoyin every moment of it ...a shaky dad trng to hold onto me .

3.Chasing pigeons (sounds easy ) but not when there are 400 of them and i am chasing them away from their food .

4.Getting on the dining table and pulling down the heavy clock .

5.Walking backwords till i run ito something .Before i un into a wall some hands do jump in .

6.Running on the bed sides pretending top do a fre fall .This gives some exercise to all to try and ensure that i dont really do it .

I am enjoyin every moment of it .

I have also got a haircut but i am not putting up any of those pictures till i grow some back .In the meantime some earlier ones .

Cricket Fever and Jet Lag

My travels continue ......I did my first overseas trip to Dubai .Before that i did a excusrion to Jaipur for a 3 day jaunt .It turned out to be one tiring trips.Someone please speed up the work at the airport .I had to face 4 hrs delay on return and i got real upset .

Jaipur Trip : good one but tiring .One day at the hotel at Jai Mahal palace .Exciting place lot of activities .I did a jig to the traditional welcome music there .I am putting up the photos next time .Travelled on a one long car trip to Ajmer ....to seek blessings .On the way back DA dissapeared leaving me with a 4 hr delay flight .By the way having travelled on quite a few flights i noticed that there are no Toddlers benfit .While they dole out gifts to 4 year plus kids ...Hey C"mon just because we pay less for the tickets does not mean dont deserve the gifts .Atleast we save you some of your stale food .

Wow ! We thrashed them real good

Dubai

The fun part travelling was the free upgrade to buisness class.Great flight .Had a good time with other pax on board .Met Gulzar the lyricst on board .Had a great trip ...shopping ,sleeping ,shopping and the fantastic Dubai Zoo ,at least they have healthy animals .I thought these guys just existed on toys and school boards .That was fun .

I wll post photos and videos the next time because this one is reserved for the photo to celebrate Mumbai Indians thrasahing of the Knight Riders .

Not that inderstand much of it but when i donned the MI colours i gave a expression that kinda celebrated the victory and was also a tease to Sharuk Khan (who is he by the way ...),or atleast thats what Mum thought so .So I am adding these photos .
